THE TWIFO/ATI-MORKWA DISTRICT CHIEF EXECUTIVE ENGAGES WITH RELIGIOUS LEADERS

All Religious Leaders in the Twifo/Ati-Morkwa District on Wednesday, 1st June, 2022, were sensitized on the management of security measures at their various places of gathering.

This was necessitated to aid in the operation of the “See Something, Say Something” campaign launched in the Country.

The Security Officers shared with the gathering some security tips. They also indicated that it would be unwise to confront possible crime suspects as such people act in fear. Participants were advised to rather engage the services the ‘999’ emergency helpline provided or the services of the Ghana Police in the District.

Participants were urged be cautious in their quest to educate members of their congregations to avoid causing fear and panic.

The District Chief Executive, Hon. Robert Agyemang-Nyantakyi appealed to the Leaders of the various religious groups to take seriously the security of their congregation and take measures such as, installing security cameras within their premises and also enhancing their lighting system at night.
