REPORT ON THE SECOND ORDINARY MEETING OF THE SECOND SESSION OF THE ELEVENTH ASSEMBLY OF THE TWIFO/ATI-MORKWA DISTRICT ASSEMBLY HELD ON TUESDAY, 28TH OCTOBER 2025
The Twifo/Ati-Morkwa District Assembly held its Second Ordinary Meeting of the Second Session of the Eleventh Assembly on Tuesday, 28th October 2025, at 9:00 a.m. prompt in the District Assembly Hall, Twifo Praso. The meeting was convened in response to an official summons dated 13th October 2025, issued by the Hon. Daniel Agbodza, Presiding Member of the Assembly.
Attendance
The meeting commenced with an opening prayer, followed by a roll call of Hon. Assembly Members, officers, and key departmental head and key stakeholders. Dignitaries present included:
The District Chief Executive (DCE)
The District Coordinating Director (DCD)
The District Police Commander
The District Education Director
The District Immigration Commander
The District Fire Service Commander.
The Presiding Member warmly welcomed all members and commended them for their dedication and active participation in the affairs of the District Assembly. Presiding Member welcomed all members and expressed appreciation for their continuous dedication toward the development of the district.

- Presentation, Discussion, and Approval of the draft 2026 Annual Action Plan
- Presentation, Discussion, and Approval of the 2026 Revenue Improvement Action Plan
- Presentation, Discussion, and Approval of the 2026 Fee Fixing Resolution
- Presentation, Discussion, and Approval of the draft 2026 Composite Budget
Additionally, the District Officer of the Births and Deaths Registry briefed the General House on the cost and procedures involved in obtaining a birth certificate, as directed in the summons letter.
Deliberations
Members thoroughly discussed all agenda items presented. The various committee reports and plans for the 2026 fiscal year were reviewed and approved after due deliberations. Constructive suggestions were made to enhance implementation and ensure efficient revenue mobilization and development in the district.
Conclusion
The meeting ended successfully with a closing prayer. Members were urged to remain committed and to work collectively to promote the growth and unity of the Twifo/Ati-Morkwa District.
