On Friday 6th February 2026, The Twifo/Ati-Morkwa District Assembly, in collaboration with the Twifo Praso Disability Fund Management Committee, has distributed various support items to 33 persons with disability in Twifo Praso. The event was led by Hon. Isaac Yawson (DCE), Mr. Richard Dela Darkey (DCD), His Excellency Hakeem Addae Council of State, Hon. David Vondee (MP), Hon. Daniel Agbodza (Presiding Member), Nana Kwesi Asiedu IV, and Mr. Kofi Kwakye (Head of Social Welfare Department).

Items distributed included:

25 Nasco Deep Freezers
1 Cassava Milling Machine
1 Hair Dryer Machine
2 Industrial Sewing Machines
3 Mist Blowers
3 Metal Container’s

The distribution exercise formed part of the Assembly’s commitment to support and empower persons with disability, particularly in enhancing their mobility, boosting their livelihood opportunities, and enabling them to engage in income-generating activities. The initiative also aims at promoting inclusivity, independence, and equal opportunities for all persons with disability within the district.1
