On 19th October 2025, Hon. Isaac Yawson, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Twifo Atti Morkwa District, commissioned three solar-powered mechanised boreholes at Gyaamanfum, Aboso, and Akatakyi communities. The commissioning formed part of Hon. Vondee’s “Safe Water Project,” an initiative aimed at providing clean and safe drinking water to residents across the constituency.

The event was graced by several dignitaries, including Hon. Isaac Yawson (DCE), Hon. Vondee (Member of Parliament) represented by His Excellency Hakeem Addae, a Member of the Council of State for the Central Region.

In his remarks, Hon. Isaac Yawson commended the Member of Parliament for his commitment to improving the living standards of the people through sustainable development projects. He encouraged the beneficiary communities to take good care of the facilities to ensure their longevity.

The community members expressed their appreciation to Hon. Vondee and the District Assembly for addressing their long-standing challenge of access to potable water.

The commissioning of these boreholes marks another milestone in the District’s efforts toward achieving universal access to safe water for all.
