TAMDA MANAGEMENT STAFF AND REVENUE COLLECTORS RECEIVE TRAINING ON THE DLREV SOFTWARE

TAMDA MANAGEMENT STAFF AND REVENUE COLLECTORS RECEIVE TRAINING ON THE DLREV SOFTWARE

With support from GIZ, the Twifo/Ati-Morkwa District Assembly (TAMDA), trained some selected Management Staff and Revenue Collectors on the novel District Local Revenue (dlRev) Software for revenue mobilization on Monday, 28th March, 2022 at the District Assembly Hall.

The District Chief Executive, Hon. Robert Agyemang-Nyantakyi who doubled as the Chairperson for the program said that the training was strictly on how the district could improve upon its revenue mobilization ability. He added that times had changed and it was necessary for the District to change with the moment. The purpose of the training was to enhance the skills set and knowledge of the trainees, he said. He encouraged all revenue collectors to take the training serious as would help them execute their task with ease.

Facilitators from #GIZ further shed light on the use of the dlRev software and how it was meant to solve challenges such as location problem in #revenuemobilization. “There was the need to come up with a software which is able to pinpoint what is happening on the ground, who is doing what and at what location”, one GIZ facilitator said.

Madam Akua Arthur took the gathering through a series of presentations and quickly addressed questions that followed.
