TAMDA HOLDS 2ND ORDINARY MEETING OF THE 3RD SESSION OF THE 10TH ASSEMBLY OF TWIFO/ATI-MORKWA DISTRICT ASSEMBLY ON TUESDAY, 29TH AUGUST, 2022 AT THE ASSEMBLY HALL

TAMDA HOLDS 2ND ORDINARY MEETING OF THE 3RD SESSION OF THE 10TH ASSEMBLY OF TWIFO/ATI-MORKWA DISTRICT ASSEMBLY ON TUESDAY, 29TH AUGUST, 2022 AT THE ASSEMBLY HALL

The Twifo/Ati-Morkwa District Assembly on Tuesday, 29th August, 2022 held its Second (2nd) Ordinary Meeting for the year, 2022, at the District Assembly Hall.

Present were the District Chief Executive – Hon. Robert Agyemang-Nyantakyi, the Presiding Member – Hon. Edward Baiden Aggrey, the District Co-ordinating Director – Mr. Bernard K. P. Sakyiama, Assembly Members and Departmental Heads/Units.

Hon. Edward Baiden Aggrey welcomed the House and commended Members for their immense contribution and cooperation towards the development of the District. He led the House to proceed with the reading and correction of the previous minutes.

Speaking on the strength of staff of the District Assembly, Mr. Bernard Sakyiama introduced Twenty-Seven (27) new officers to the House. He added that the assembly had recruited Eleven (11) Laborers and also released Four (4) Officers to each Area Council.

Delivering his address, the DCE, Hon. Robert Agyemang-Nyantakyi commended Members of the House for their sensational support towards the steady development of the District. He highlighted the progress of the District pertaining development, some scheduled activities of the District to be executed in the 2023 fiscal year and issues confronting the District in his sessional address. Again, he captured in his address the financial performance of the Assembly, completed and ongoing works and infrastructural development, the status of the renovation of the Assembly block, physical planning activities of the Assembly, agricultural and food production, public health management, education in the District, transportation issues in the District as well as recommendations from the Executive Committee. The Presiding Member applauded the House for their participation and contributions and for making it a point to attend the meeting.
