The Twifo/Ati-Morkwa District Assembly (TAMDA) held a fee fixing meeting on Wednesday, 30^th September, 2020, at the District Assembly Hall with its various stakeholders.

Present at the meeting were the District Chief Executive for Twifo/Ati-Morkwa District Assembly, Hon. Robert Agyemang-Nyantakyi, the District Coordinating Director, Mr. Bernard K.P. Sakyiama and stakeholders, including, Heads of Departments and Units.

Fee fixing meeting is an exercise which usually takes place between the District Assembly and their various stakeholders to deliberate and agree on particular fees to be charged on legal, socio-economic and commercial activities within the boundaries of the said district.

The above meeting was aimed at reviewing charges on the various socio-economic and commercial activities happening in the district, especially since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic which had impacted negatively on both commercial and socio-economic activities in the country.

The house agreed to maintain the current fees on all activities within the district. This conclusion was reached at the meeting by all stakeholders present with the reason being to ease pressure on businesses until the Covid-19 pandemic was fully resolved.
