A meeting with Management of the Twifo/Ati-Morkwa District Assembly and Stakeholders on Fee Fixing Resolution for 2023 was held on Thursday, 1^st September, 2022 at the Assembly Hall.  The meeting was held to discuss prospective tax options for the coming fiscal year, 2023.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Bernard K. P. Sakyiama – the District Co-ordinating Director, who also doubled as the Chairperson for the gathering welcomed all present and applauded them for gracing the invitation. He took the gathering through the legal backing of the Local Governance Act (2016) on revenue collection and further urged stakeholders to continue contribute their quota to the developing the District.

The District Budget Officer, Mr. Louis Gyan Owusu-Ansah, guided participants through a presentation and highlighted on revenue items. His presentation included fees being charged as well as projected fees for the 2025 fiscal year.

To further clarify and clear doubts in the minds of participants, Mr. Alfred Dadson, the District Development Planning Officer, presented to the gathering some completed and ongoing initiatives undertaken by the District Assembly.

Participants lauded Management of the District Assembly for putting revenues collected to good use and especially for such an event where the transparency and accountability traits of the District Assembly are exhibited.
