TAMDA BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETS TO CONSOLIDATE THE DRAFT COMPOSITE BUDGET OF THE ASSEMBLY

TAMDA BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETS TO CONSOLIDATE THE DRAFT COMPOSITE BUDGET OF THE ASSEMBLY

The Budget Committee of the Twifo/Ati-Morkwa District Assembly (TAMDA) met on Friday, 25th September, 2020 to approve the draft budgets from the various Departments and Units to Assembly’s 2020 Composite Budget.
The District Co-ordinating Director (DCD) who also doubled as the Chairman to the Budget Committee, Mr Bernard K. P. Sakyiama had earlier made it known to members that the preparation and submission of budgets from the various Departments and Units would be based on a ‘No Contribution, No Chop (NCNC)’ policy. This meant that any Department/Unit that failed to present their draft budget, risked not getting reserve of funds from the District Assembly in 2021.
The District Budget Analyst (DBA) – Mr Louis Owusu Ansah (Secretary) as well as Members of the Budget Committee made up of Departmental Heads and Unit Heads of the District Assembly.
The secretary to the Committee, Mr Louis Owusu Ansah gave a vivid presentation on drafts from the various Departments and Units. He also went on to lead the Members through allocated funds to each department/unit. The DCD and DBA took turns in addressing the concerns and questions raised during the training.
The training programme came to a successful end.
