STUDENTS OF THE VALLEY VIEW UNIVERSITY PAY WORKING VISIT TO THE TWIFO/ATI-MORKWA DISTRICT ASSEMBLY
The Twifo/Ati-Morkwa District Assembly on Thursday, 16th June, 2022 received Students from the Faculty of Development Studies of the Valley View University. A durbar was held in honour of the visitors to welcome them to the District.
Speaking at the function, the Head of Department from the Faculty of Social Science, Rev. Addo, said that the purpose of their trip was to undertake a research in the District and also afford Students the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the rural setting and its challenges. He quickly added that any findings would be gladly shared with the District Assembly for further action to be taken. He expressed his gratitude to the District Assembly for all the attention and support.
Mr. Alfred Dadson, Head of Development Planning Unit, on behalf of the District Chief Executive, Hon. Robert Agyemang-Nyantakyi, welcomed the Students and further encouraged them in their endeavours. He assured them of the District Assembly’s support with their research work. He quickly led the students through a brief presentation on the profile of the District.
Mr. Eric Nyame, Head of Works Department, led the visitors to their various designated communities where they would be stationed until their research was completed.
