ONE HUNDRED AND NINETY-SEVEN CENSUS OFFICIALS SWORN-IN

On the 1st day of June, 2021, the Honourable District Chief Executive (DCE) for Twifo Ati-Morkwa, Robert Agyemang-Nyantakyi, accompanied by members of the District Census Implementation Committee (DCIC), swore-in One Hundred and Ninety-Seven (197) qualified applicants who are to undertake the 2021 Population and Housing Census (PHC) at a swearing ceremony held at the Nursing & Midwifery Training College, Twifo Praso. The event was also graced with staff from the Ghana Statistical Service.

In addressing the gathering, the Honourable District Chief Executive applauded the trainees for coming this far in the recruitment process of the Ghana Statistical Service. He went on to explain the terms of the remuneration and what would happen to the payment process if any of the trainees defaulted. He cautioned trainees against going contrary to what they have been assigned to do especially breaching confidentiality which would result in conviction.

He finally expressed his gratitude towards everyone who has contributed to the progress of the exercise so far. Honourable Robert Agyemang-Nyantakyi then swore in the census officials.
