I AM A PROFESSIONAL FARMER AND A PROFESSIONAL TEACHER
Agriculture is the Science and Art of cultivating plants and livestock which has contributed greatly to the growth of the Human Civilization and consequently enabled people to have a life in the cities. In Ghana, however, many people are of the view that only the deprived and uneducated venture into agriculture or specifically, farming.
Mr. Isaac Agyiri, a professional Teacher and Headmaster of Twifo Nyinase Catholic Basic School went against all odds when he won the Overall Best Farmer Award on 6th November, 2020 in the Twifo/Ati-Morkwa District in the Central Region in this years’ 36th Edition of Farmers’ Day Celebration themed: Agribusiness Development Under Covid-19 – Challenges and Opportunities.
