HON. ROBERT AGYEMANG-NYANTAKYI CUTS SOD FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CHPS COMPOUND

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Twifo/Ati-Morkwa, Hon. Robert Agyemang-Nyantakyi on 1st December, 2020 cut sod for the construction of a modern CHPS compound at Twifo Mampong.

The District Chief Executive in his speech acknowledged the efforts of Hon. Dr. Obrempong Appiah Nuamah II, Member of Council of State and Traditional Ruler of the area, for all the aid he gives his community and for giving up his traditional court to the community to be used as a health facility. He went on to say that Twifo Mampong was one of the fortunate communities within the district as a few weeks back together with the Deputy Central Regional Minister, sod was cut for the construction of the Twifo Mampong inner city roads. He advised the community to work hand-in-hand with the contractor for the construction to go on smoothly. Not forgetting the contractor, he appealed to him to engage the local manpower when an opportunity opens up.

Hon. Dr. Obrempong Appiah Nuamah II in his speech commended the District Chief Executive for such a project. He acknowledged the efforts of Hon. Ebenezer Obeng Dwamena in securing the CHPS compound for Twifo Mampong and implored the community to grant the President of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo another four-year team to serve Ghanaians and also vote for Hon. Ebenezer Obeng Dwamena as the Member of Parliament for the Twifo/Ati-Morkwa Constituency.

The Queen Mother, Nana Abena Antwiwaa used the opportunity to advise the Parliamentary Candidate for the New Patriotic Party to caution his supporters to be peace advocates and avoid violence in the upcoming December 7th general elections. She also advised all sub-chiefs and queen mothers gathered to also engage the youth within their communities to shun violence during and after the elections and give peace a chance to continue to reign.

The project is expected to be completed within a six (6) months period.
