DEPUTY REGIONAL MINISTER CUTS SOD FOR TWIFO MAMPONG TOWN ROADS
The Deputy Central Regional Minister, Hon. Thomas Agyei Baffoe on Tuesday 22nd September, 2020 cut the sod for the construction of a 4.5KM town roads at Twifo Mampong. Present at ceremony were the District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Twifo/Ati-Morkwa District, Hon. Robert Agyemang-Nyantakyi and Hon. Dr. Obrempong Appiah Nuamah II (Council of State Member and Omanhene of Twifo Traditional Council).
In a welcome speech Hon. Dr. Obrempong Appiah Nuamah II commended the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for delivering on his promises to the Nation. He noted that the construction was meant for the entire community and not for his personal gains, hence, the cooperation of everyone was needed. He finally urged his people to consider giving the ruling government another 4-year term to continue the good work.
On his part, Hon. Robert Agyemang-Nyantakyi highlighted some achievements of the government during its first 4-year tenure. He cited the reconstruction of the Pra Bridge, the New District Hospital which was still under construction and a number of major roads being reshaped and asphalted. He commended the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, led by H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for their commitment and zeal towards the citizenry. He urged the citizenry to go out and check their names in the voter register during the ongoing voter exhibition exercise. This he said, would enable them secure their votes for December 7th, 2020 and also vote for Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo.
The Deputy Central Regional Minister, Hon. Thomas Agyei Baffoe could not hide his joy for the number of developmental projects ongoing within the district. He encouraged the natives of Twifo Mampong to vote and retain the current government on December 7th for more developmental projects.
Speaking on behalf of Sanja Construction Limited, Mr. Wilson Ocran assured the people of value for money work and also called for the cooperation of the community.
