INAUGURATION OF THE MAMPONG HEALTH CENTRE

Yet another project in the Twifo/Ati-Morkwa District sees the light of day as the Mampong Health Centre is commissioned.

On Wednesday, 12th January, 2022 the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Twifo/Ati-Morkwa – Hon. Robert Agyemang-Nyantakyi, accompanied by Hon. Edward Baiden Aggrey – Presiding Member, Mr. Bernard K. P. Sakyiama – the District Co-ordinating Director, Mr. Samuel Ofosu – the District Director of Health, Assembly Members for Mampong East and West and some Departmental/Unit Heads of Twifo/Ati-Morkwa District Assembly inaugurated the Mampong Heath Centre at Twifo Mampong.

The occasion was also graced with the presence of the Twifomanhene – Obrempong Appiah Nuamah II and Hon. David Vondee – Member of Parliament for Twifo/Ati-Morkwa.

Obrempong Appiah Nuamah II expressed his excitement as he commended the DCE for a beautiful edifice such as the Health Centre in his community.

Hon. Robert Agyemang-Nyantakyi (DCE) also applauded the District Health Directorate for their support towards the success of the project.  He advised both Health workers and the entire community to ensure proper maintenance and keep the facility clean at all times. He urged the Health workers to give of their best services to clients and without discrimination. The Hon. DCE assured the gathering of quarters for the Health workers. He made it known to the gathering that the established project was built from the common fund.

Mr. Samuel Ofosu, the District Director of Health also commended the Paramount Chief for his assistance, especially with the parcel of land the project sits on. Again, he also entreated the Health workers and the community to keep the facility clean.

The District Chief Executive and the Twifomanhene officially cut ribbon to declare the facility open for use.
