DCE VISITS BECE EXAMINATION CENTERS
The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Twifo/Ati-Morkwa Hon. Robert Agyemang-Nyantakyi, together with members of the District Education Oversight Committee (DEOC) on Monday 14th September and Wednesday, September 16, 2020 visited the seven (7) Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) centers within the district to inspect the situation of the center and encourage the candidates.
Ninety-Four (94) Schools registered for the BECE in the district with Two Thousand and Ninety –Nine (2,099) candidates registered to sit for the examination in the district.
The DCE and the District Director of Education (DDE) took turns to encourage the pupils at the various centers. They also advised the candidates to shun fear and be hopeful about the results. The DCE went on to caution candidate against examination malpractices and to stick to what they knew and could remember. He also assured them of a better future, considering the implementation of the Free Senior High School policy. The DDE also advised the invigilators to desist from instilling fear into the candidates.
Hon. Robert Agyemang-Nyantakyi also paid a visit to Bimpongegya Poly Clinic to ascertain the work output of Health Officials at the facility. He expressed satisfaction about the progress of work done at the clinic and promised to provide them a mower to assist them mow their compound and also supply to them street bulbs.
