ANNUAL REGIONAL BUDGET HEARING AT TWIFO/ATI-MORKWA DISTRICT ASSEMBLY HALL

The Twifo/Ati-Morkwa District Assembly (TAMDA) hosted three (3) other district for the Central Regional Budget Hearing on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at the District Assembly Hall.

The regional team led by the Deputy Central Regional Minister- Hon. Thomas Adjei Baffoe, the head of  internal audit unit at the Regional Co-coordinating Council – Mr. Wazy B. Mukaila, a Chief Budget Analyst at the Regional Coordinating Council- Mr. Bless Dakey and Assistant Budget Analyst-Miss Felicia Dankwa.

The Hon. Deputy Regional Minister, Hon. Thomas Adjei Baffoe in his opening remarks welcomed all participants and also delivered a speech on behalf of the Finance Minister, Hon. Ken Ofori Attah.

The Districts present were; Upper Denkyira West District, Assin South Assembly, Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira District Assembly, and the host district, Twifo/Ati-Morkwa District Assembly.

During the presentation, all four (4) districts made it known to the gathering on the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and how it had gone a long way to delay it planned activities, especially the developmental projects. They however expressed optimism for the coming year. Hon. Thomas Adjei Baffoe in his closing remarks, congratulated all the districts for their enlightening presentation
