Twifo/Ati-Morkwa district among the twenty-two (22) districts within the central region on Tuesday 3rd June, 2025 held its 11th general assembly meeting at the district assembly hall.
The meeting welcomed the presence of 28 assembly members, 12 government appointees, the DCE, district police commander DSP Bismark John Setuchie, DSI Padmoore Asiedu of the district immigration service, head of the National Investigative Bureau, heads of department and newly appointed members of the assembly.
Hon. Daniel Agbodza, took the opportunity to welcome all members and heads of department and further on conducted a roll call among assembly members.
In a remark by the DCE, Hon. Isaac Yawson, he anticipated for a fruitful deliberation to enable the assembly implement productive decisions. He also acknowledged the support members of the current assembly has thrown behind him following his confirmation as a DCE in their last sitting.
Hon. Isaac Yawson, encouraged all members to come on board, and support governments agenda to making the district great.
The meeting proceeded with the formation of adhoc sub committees which was moderated by Mr. A.M. Awal Suhuyini, District Coordinating Director (DCD). Below are the sub committees and their chairpersons;

In furtherance of the meeting the DCD, briefed the house on a letter received on 6th May, 2025 requesting for a member of the assembly as a member of the regional lands board, Hon. Nana Kwesi Asiedu IV Gyasehene for the Twifo Traditional Council was nominated by the assembly to occupy the post.
Mr. Prince Asare, the Assistant Principal for the Nurses and Midwifery Training College, gave a brief presentation on the institute’s admission requirements and protocols. Traditionally, if a candidate secures at least a C+ in their WASSCE results, he/she qualifies for admission, this he said as addressed members of the assembly.
In approval of the 2025 annual action plan, Mr. Alfred Dadson the districts development planning officer presented on the years action plan.
