On Monday, 27th June, 2022 the District Chief Executive for Twifo/Ati-Morkwa, Hon. Robert Agyemang-Nyantakyi, handed-over a 6-Unit Classroom Block to the Bepobeng community. At the event were Nana Yaa Twumwaa II – the Twifo Akwamuhemaa, the District Director of Education – Mr. Anthony Takyi, some Departmental Heads and Staff of the Twifo/ Ati-Morkwa District Assembly.

Nana Yaa Twumwaa II, welcomed and commended the dignitaries present for gracing the occasion. She took the opportunity to express her gratitude to the District Chief Executive for such a project in her Community. She went further to appeal to the District Chief Executive for some other amenities to complement the project. Among these were; the posting of teachers to the community, a school feeding programme for the school, potable drinking water for the school, a Kindergarten and a Teacher’s quarters.

Hon. Robert Agyemang-Nyantakyi expressed his joy for fulfilling his promise to the community. He explained that the parcel of land was released to him in 2020 by the Chief of the community for the project. He assured the community on more developmental projects. He again said that during his tenure, no single school project would be handed over without its ancillary facilities. He entreated them to ensure a proper maintenance culture. He informed parents on Government initiatives to support education such as, the school feeding programme, the free BECE registration, the free SHS, the free WASSCE registration and also scholarship for tertiary students.

Dignitaries led by Hon. Robert Agyemang-Nyantakyi cut sod to officially open the facility for use.
