In order to revamp the Committee, a drafted working plan was put together on behalf of the Committee by the NADMO department for discussion and approval. He charged members to pay a particular attention to the presentation to enable them make informed decisions.

Mr. Solomon Okyere Darko, the District NADMO Administrator, presented the proposal for the Disaster Preparedness Plan to the Committee. His presentation also captured some key prevailing hazardous activities with their corresponding period and the area of occurrences in the district. Some activities mentioned included the Heavy rainfall, Dispute (family or communities), Careless use of electricity, Poor Sanitation, Sand Winning, Pest and Diseases, Dilapidated Structures, Uncovered pit, Careless handling of naked frames and Bad Roads in the District.
