The free SHS policy was next, as he pointed out to all gathered how the policy has reduced the burden of families and individuals who could/can not afford to cater for the wards educational expenses. “This free SHS which is an initiative of the New Patriotic Party even though has challenges but it aims to make it better through the support of the Ghanaian citizenry”, he said.

School feeding was also amongst one of the policies of Government the DCE spoke about as it has encouraged school attendance in most if not all regions across the country. He reiterated that despite the challenges government is facing on the current feeding policy, it is burnt on improving its quality.

“The Metro Mass Transport which was introduced by the former President John Agyekum Kuffour’s administration has seen steady progress and has offered to many an affordable transportation across the country and beyond”, he said.

The DCE, also pointed out on the NHIS policy as it has also boosted support for patients and old persons in Public Health Hospitals of which the Otukrom is a bigger beneficiary of such.
